Helen
Helen is the Managing Director at Care Associates and has overall responsibility for the management of the business, whilst promoting the values and principles that were instilled by our Founder, Elizabeth Hunter.
Helen is a qualified and Registered Manager in Health and Social Care and has almost 30 years' experience in the sector. This includes working across multiple roles within the business including community support worker and multiple management roles including finance, care coordination, HR, and contract management. Helen has been in her current role since 2010.
Marie
Marie is the Deputy Manager, with over 35 years of experience working in the Care industry. Marie liaises with a range of professionals, service users and their families to set up bespoke packages of care.
Marie started her career in care in 1986 and joined Care Associates as a Carer and Coordinator in 2000. Since then, Marie has become a qualified and Registered Manager in Health and Social Care alongside Helen.
Julie
Julie is our Senior Care Coordinator, covering the North and East of the city, whilst supporting members of the team across all areas. Julie has extensive knowledge with over 30 years’ experience working in the Care industry, with a focus on supporting individuals in their own homes.
Julie joined Care Associates as a Community Support Worker in 2006 and started as a Care Coordinator in the office in 2008.
Bernie
Bernie is our Finance and Training Officer. Bernie has worked within the Care industry for over 35 years, with a range of experience across both residential and community care.
Bernie joined Care Associates as a Community Support Worker in 1998, before moving into her current role in 2010. Bernie is now part of the office team, delivering training to staff in addition to her finance role.
Lynda
Lynda is our Care Coordinator, covering the South and West of the City. Lynda comes from a Social Care background, working in Social Care for Coventry City Council as a family coordinator. Lynda then moved into the NHS, where she worked within the Health Visitor team for over 20 years.
Lynda joined Care Associates in 2021 as a Carer and began her role as a Care Coordinator in 2023.
Dorothy
Dorothy is our Office Manager and has been with Care Associates since it was established in 1995. Dorothy is responsible for the day-to-day running of the office, including ensuring that all documentation is recorded, stored and complies with GDPR. Dorothy supported the company in its early years, alongside its founder, Elizabeth Hunter.
